Hey everyone!

It's been a very long time and SO many new and exciting things have happened! First, in January, I was selected along with my CGA teammates Hilary Mauro and Bianca Flohr to represent the USA in the USA vs. Japan and New Zealand competition held at The Ranch in Texas. Our team had a great meet and we placed 1st!! I also won bars, floor, and placed 2nd All Around. For my first international assignment, it went very well!

Then in February, I went to the American Cup selection camp and I was selected! I was so excited and surprised, especially since I had been in only one other international competition for our country. The Tyson American Cup was a really great competiton and it was really fun! Nastia, Shayla, Bianca, and I trained a lot, but I also got to become better friends with all of them. Even though Bianca and I did very well, only the top two girls from each country made finals, and we tied for 3rd behind Nastia and Shayla. Unfortunately, during my beam routine I fell and ended up breaking two bones in my foot, so I was limited for about two months.

While I was injured, I made great use of my time and took three unofficial visits to University of Alabama, University of Utah, and Stanford University. I loved all three of the schools, so it was a very tough decision, but I committed to University of Utah in July! I'm relieved the process is over and I can't wait to be a UTE!!!! Also in July, I competed in the US Classics, but I only competed beam due to certain reasons. I did pretty well and ended up placing 7th; I was already qualified to Championships due to my score at the USA vs. Japan/New Zealand meet, so after Classics it was back to the gym to train, train, train!!!

Now, I'm just cleaning up my routines to go out and HIT in St. Paul. I hope you're all having a great summer!

Hi everyone! So much has happened since I've updated last! Sorry it's taken me so long, but after Championships I had a week vacation (I went up to Michigan) and then I started school, so I've been VERY busy! First off, Championships was SO much fun! I was a little overwhelmed when I first trained in the Fieldhouse, but after the first practice I felt like "normal". Training went really well, and I felt so prepared for my first US Championships! I didn't start off as well as I had liked on the first day, but I was high enough in the standings to come back on the 2nd day of competition and boost my ranking by 3 to win a spot on the Sr. National Team! My family and I still can't believe its true, but I'm so happy that it is! The actual competition was also a lot of fun...Annie Diluzio was in my group along with my teammate Hilary Mauro and a few others. Annie was awesome to be with and I'm so glad we've become friends! I want to congratulate everyone else who competed and especially those who made a National Team.

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that Ashley (Priess) is doing very well and has been completely healed for 2 weeks following her little mishap on bars. I'm so proud of her attitude towards everything after that happened. The week after Championships she was back doing her 1 1/2 on bars like nothing happened!

Monica and Ashley are preparing for their international assignments and are looking really good. They have been very consistent with their routines and I can't wait for them to get great results from it all! Meanwhile, Hilary and I have been working on new skills for the new code and having a BLAST trying to be creative! HAHAHA!

Well, I'm off to finish my homework and have a fun Sunday afternoon with two Level 10s from our gym: Nicole Little and Anna Robey. Bye until next time!

Sorry everyone for such a long journal absence! I was SO busy getting ready for Classics that I forgot, but now I'm going to update you!!!

Well, I competed at an Elite Regional in Joliet,IL with my teammate Hilary. Amy, our asst. coach, took us and we had a blast. I had a few mistakes on bars, but hit my other routines! Hilary also did great! After we got back from that little meet, we started to train more for Classics. We had a lot of mock meets and pressure sets to build our confidence, and I think it helped everyone!

Classics went pretty well for our team. The juniors, Ashley and Monica, went 1st and 2nd AA which is AWESOME! They also placed on most of their events. Hil and I didn't have our best meets, but we did pretty well for our first big SENIOR competition! I fell on my first event (bars), but the rest of my meet was great. I ended up getting 8th on floor and 14th AA! Our squad was so great; I loved getting to meet a lot of new people. Pictures will be up soon from the competition, too!

I think this is pretty much everything! I hope you're enjoying the rest of your summer, and hopefully I'll see you at Visa Championships!

Hi everyone and welcome to my site!! I'm so excited for this and I'd like to thank my coaches, my parents, and Stacy for helping put this together. I hope everyone learns a lot about me and comes back time after time. As for in the gym, I have a mock meet today and then tomorrow Hilary and I leave with our asst. coach, Amy Wert, for a Reg'l in Joliet, IL. Wish me luck and I'll post a journal with updates after the meet!
